About Us
There are two golf courses each less than two miles from our location. King’s Gate to the South and Deep Creek Country Club to the East. There are many shops, banks and restaurants in the immediate area with hospitals just four miles away. We have tennis and pickle ball courts as well as bocce ball and shuffle board courts. Our small lakes with fountains contain a myriad of wildlife including fish, many distinct species of birds, turtles and an occasional alligator. We even see a bobcat walking through our grounds once or twice a year.
For those interested in baseball spring training, there are currently four major league teams spring training facilities within 40 miles. The Tampa Rays are just 8 miles away, with the Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins 40 miles south in Ft. Myers. The Atlanta Braves have a new facility 18 miles north in North Port.
We are located just a few miles from the Peace River and Charlotte Harbor so there are many opportunities for fishing for those who are interested in doing so, as there are several charter boats available in the area.
